Nature
Untouched natural areas in University Park are home to countless species of animals large and small. The natural resources and abundant wildlife and fauna found here will never be replicated in the ever-expanding Sarasota metropolitan area.

Nature Surrounds
Alligators and turtles are seen on the lake banks on bright sunny winter days. Sandhill cranes and their offspring can often be heard barking at each other before their bright red heads appear proudly parading down the golf course fairways.
Birds of all sizes and types have found refuge in the grand oaks and underbrush in University Park. Hawks, eagles, egrets, herons, spoonbills and pelicans live harmoniously.
Bobcats and coyotes are occasionally spotted, along with deer, rabbits and countless squirrels who dart courageously in and out of traffic.
Breathe
As soon as you enter the grounds of University Park, you feel like you can breathe. Far away but still so close to the exciting hustle and bustle.
Take a walk, hop on your bike, spend a few hours on the golf course or enjoy lunch at our lakeside café while surrounded by nature.
